Credit Regulations

J&W Accepts EDI, Visa, MasterCard and American Express


It is the policy of J&W Instruments to extend reasonable amounts of credit to individuals or companies who, in the opinion of J&W Instruments, are credit worthy, are committed to the prompt payment of invoices as they become due and who agree by these guidelines.

1.  No customer will be sold on an open account basis without a properly completed credit application, as well as, any

    other proof of credit worthiness as may be required by J&W Instruments, Inc.

    a.  J&W reserves the right to establish a maximum credit limit.

    b. J&W reserves the right to deny credit to any customer who does not meet our criteria.

 

2. Payments will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions stated on each invoice.

    a. All Invoices are due within 30 days from date of invoice.  After 30 days the invoice is considered past due.  In     

        such cases, J&W will retain any applicable discounts.

    b. If an invoice remains unpaid for 60 days, from date of invoice, your account will be put on hold.  Any outstanding

        orders will not be shipped and any new orders will not be entered, until satisfactory arrangements have been

        made to get the account current.

    c. In an invoice remains unpaid for 90 days, form date of invoice, all future orders will be C.O.D.

    d. A service charge of 1.5% per month will be added to all past due invoices that require legal action until date of

        final payment.

    e. In the event of non-payment of an obligation due J&W Instruments and the institution of legal proceedings

        pursuant to its collection, the individual or company to whom credit was extended shall bear the const of such

        proceedings, including court costs and attorney's fees.

 

3. J&W may request reasonable evidence of continuing credit worthiness after and account has been opened.  Such

    evidence will usually be in the form of annual financial statements and/or trade and bank references.  Failure to

    provide the required information may result in losing an open credit status.
